Thank you for choosing BreakMasterTM board breaking system. BreakMasterTM was designed and tested to give the Martial Artist consistency and convenience in board breaking. Please read this manual carefully before operating. If you have any questions, or find there are any missing or damaged parts, please contact us through our website.

Break Master Wall Mount
- Attach Break Master Wall Unit to your wall using 4 backer boards at 6”x3’x2” ea.
- Wood Stub Wall
- Mount to wall using the 4 vertical bars.
- Mount into the studs in your wall, studs are usually 16” apart. Mount to all three studs using 4-1/2 Lag Screw and washer. Drill pilot holes smaller than lag screws.
- Once wall backers are installed, having one person hold frame, level the machine, mark your holes in the floor bracket and on wall .
- Concrete Floor Mount
- Use a 5/8” masonry bits (hammer drill is best). Remove dust from holes.
- Measure the Lag Shield to determine the depth to drill.
- Put a little bit of anchoring adhesive in the hole.
- Tap Lag Shield into floor – flush with floor.
- Screw Hex Screw into floor leavin ¾” to ½” of thread above the floor and squeeze some anchoring adhesive around bolt.
- Clean the excess away and let it set per package instructions.
- Place machine in place on floor over Hex Bolt and screw the top in place in the backer boards. Secure Washer and Hex Bolt.
- Metal Stud Wall
- Take a ¾ inch cabinet grade plywood using cabinet grade screws to mount to wall
- Continue installation as stated above in 2nd bullet point.
- Wood Stub Wall
Portable Break Master
- Grip Middle Bar and pull up until machine is upright.
- Insert Locking Pins
- Place all weights on weight bars. Use 5 – 25lb weights with 1” center on each bar (holds up to 250lb0. You will need an adaptor sleeve for 2” centered weights.
- Station 1: Insert the bolts on back of station 1 into place in the Key Lock holes on the uprights to suite the height needed for the technique.
- Locking pins are located in the top front of station on each side. They MUST be in place to MOVE station so that it DOES NOT collapse.
- When ready to break boards, locking pins MUST be placed in the holes in the back plate going through the key locks on both sides of the station.
- DO NOT BREAK with locking pins in front of machine, they MUST be placed in the back of plate through KEY LOCKS.
- Slide out the bottom panel to accommodate the number of boards (no more than 8 boards) and tighten with knob under the slide.
- Strap boards at top and bottom of station to hold securely in place making sure the bottom slide plate is just behind the board in front to avoid contact with foot.
- The Bottom will break away when the boards are kicked.
- Station 2: Insert the bolts on back of station 2 into place in the Key Lock holes on the uprights to suite the height needed for the technique.
- This Station can hold boards vertically or horizontally.
- Locking pins MUST be placed in the holes in the back plate on each side going through the key locks
- Horizontal: Board grain should be parallel to the top and bottom plate.
- Vertical: Remove locking pin from side of holder and lift out of shaft. Rotate station180 degrees and reinsert into shaft and reinsert locking pins. Wood grain is now running parallel to plates that are the now the sides.
- With locking pins removed tilt holder up or down and lock in place with locking pins for the desired tilt on board
- Function of both Horizontal and Vertical board breaks:
- Glides at 4 corners slide to adjust for number of boards (no more than 4). Be sure that the metal glide is pushed behind the front board by half of board width so that body does not come into contact with Glide. Strap top and bottom of board to secure in place.
- This station DOES NOT break way.
- Station 3: Speed break – up to 2 boards
- This station is stored in between the upright keylock supports.
- Slide post up until the bar is free to swing out in front of machine
- Lock in place with round wire locking pin at top of machine and also at the bend of arm.
- This station is stored in between the upright keylock supports.
Care, Maintenance, Storage
- Inspect and tighten all parts each time you use the machine.
- Replace any worn parts immediately:
- Bent locking pins
- Worn foam
- Worn padding
- Stretched or torn strapping
- Store in collapsed position out of high traffic areas
- Excess moisture and water can cause rust.
- To avoid possible injury, two or more individuals would be needed to collapse, raise or move the machine.
- Stations 1 and 2 should be removed from machine and stored in a closet or counter when not in use.
- Station 3 should be collapsed into its storage potion when not is use.
Operating Notes
- Break Master should be used under the supervision of qualified individuals.
- Children should not be allowed to operate the machine.
- Children should not be left unattended.
- Station 1: One locking pin should be placed in the front locking hole and one locking pin in the back key lock when not in use to avoid accidental collapse of station or displacement from frame.
- Station 2: All locking pins should be kept in place.
- Max weight of 250lbs should be placed on the rods on the Portal Model when in use.
- It is recommended that a person should stand on the back of the machine between the support rails to give added stability. Goggles and Shoes should be worn when standing on the back of the machine.
- Remove Station 1 and 2 when transporting.
Return Policy
New merchandise (not, worn, altered or damaged), suitable for resale, may be returned for exchange or refund within 14 days of purchase. If new merchandise is returned within 15-29 days of purchase, there is a 15% restocking charge; after 30 days, goods will not be accepted. No returns are accepted on custom items or clearance items.
To return any merchandise, customer needs to complete the exchange/return form on the backside of the packing slip that came with the shipment. Merchandise should be wrapped securely and returned via U.P.S., R.P.S., or insured parcel post. All merchandise sold as sets must be returned as sets. A credit will be issued by the original method of payment, excluding shipping and handling charges.
A check or money order for shipping and handling charges must accompany all exchanges. Merchandise, returned for exchange without a check or money order to cover shipping and handling, will be charged on customer’s credit card or sent out COD with appropriate charges.
